Focal point - Purchasing Optimization: INTECO® unveils the potentials
Unexpected high savings- and optimization potential for processes often slumber in the purchasing departments of many organizations.
INTECO® GmbH, specialist of project management, has recognized the need of many customers and developed a cross-industry procedure to identify and unveil purchasing potentials. Our expertise is based on over 20 years of project work and a profound knowledge of business processes, as well as IT-systems of various organizations.
The purchasing optimization is divided into two phases: within a brief preliminary phase (approx. two weeks) INTECO® consultants will extract the purchasing data from the customer's systems. After it has been prepared and analysed, the experts will specify the identified savings potentials. This preliminary stage beares low risk for the customer, since he is presented with detailed findings and can decide on further actions.
Afterwards the customer has the option to involve INTECO® in the implementation phase of the corrective actions. Among others, important points here are the initiation of precise actions, task distribution and control of their execution, intervention in critical areas, as well as rating the achieved results. If, for example, there are potentials in energy procurement, purchase agreements will be cancelled during the course, new agreements negociated or put out to tender and concluded. These proceedings will enable the customer to implement effective changes within a reasonable period of time and thus benefit promptly from significant savings and optimized purchasing processes. Among the customers who already benefit from this approach are DAX 30 customers.
The cost for the preliminary phase is in a manageable cost frame of around 15.000 €. Depending on the situation, part of the payment can be success-based, for example, if the the solution provider is involved in the negotiation of new supplier agreements.
